Get help
Email help@graviti.inc. Tell us what happened and what you expected; a screenshot helps. A person reads every message and replies by email.
On iPhone, Talk to support in the menu starts the email for you, with the app’s version and your iOS version added at the bottom.
The same answers, and a few more, are in the app: Help centre in the menu on iPhone, and Settings › Help centre on the web.
Recording
How do I record a thought?
Tap the mic in the middle of the tab bar and talk. Tap Stop and save when you’re done. Your tasks appear at the top of the list a few seconds later.
How do I record with the Action Button?
In the iPhone Settings app, open Action Button, swipe to Controls and choose Capture a Thought. Then press the button, even with the phone locked, and talk; press it again to stop. The first time, iOS asks to allow Heardo’s live card on the Lock Screen. Tap Allow, or the button can’t record. In Heardo, Settings › Recording › Action Button walks you through it and checks that it works.
Can I record without the Action Button?
Yes. Add the Heardo control to Control Center or the Lock Screen, or say “Capture a thought with Heardo” to Siri. Both start a recording without opening the app.
Why did my recording stop on its own?
Either you went quiet for 2 seconds, with Stop when I stop talking on, or it reached the longest recording you chose, from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. Both are in Settings › Recording › Recording ends. Either way, everything you said is kept.
From speech to tasks
What happens to what I say?
The recording goes to Heardo’s server, which uses Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) to transcribe it and split it into tasks, each filed into a category. Amazon doesn’t train AI on it. When it’s done, a line says what was added, such as “Added 2 tasks · Work”; tap it while it’s showing to see What I heard. The privacy policy has the details.
Does it work offline?
Recording always works. With no connection the recording waits on your phone and is sent when you’re back online. Your tasks and reminders keep working meanwhile. If mobile data is off for Heardo, turn it on in iPhone Settings › Mobile Data › Heardo.
A recording didn’t turn into tasks. What now?
It stays at the top of Tasks as “Couldn’t make tasks”. Tap Try again, or open it to play it back and make a task from it yourself.
A name keeps coming out wrong. How do I fix it?
Add it on the Dictionary tab: tap Add, type the word the way it should be spelled and, if you like, the misspelling Heardo keeps writing. New recordings use it.
Which languages can I speak?
English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Hindi. Choose up to three in Settings › Recording › Languages. Automatic works out which one you’re speaking, and keeps mixed-language speech as spoken rather than translating it.
Tasks and reminders
How do reminders work?
A task with a due date notifies you when it comes up. Press and hold the notification to mark the task done or snooze it. When you pick a time for a task, it rings like an alarm, even on Silent, until you stop it or snooze it; switch Ring as alarm off in the task for an ordinary reminder. If nothing arrives, check that notifications are allowed for Heardo in iPhone Settings.
Can a task repeat?
Yes. Open the task and choose Repeat: every day, every weekday, weekly, monthly, yearly, or Custom. When you complete it, the next one is added.
Can I attach a screenshot or a photo?
Yes, up to ten images on a task. On iPhone, open the task and add one under Attachments, from Photos or by pasting. On the web, choose a file, paste, or drop it onto the open task.
Account and data
Can I use Heardo on my computer?
Yes. Open heardo-app.graviti.inc, scan the code it shows with your iPhone’s camera, and tap Sign in on the phone. The web app uses the account you opened on iPhone; it can’t open a new one.
Are my tasks backed up?
Yes. Tasks, categories and Dictionary are kept in your account, so they come back when you sign in on a new phone. Changes made without a connection wait on your phone and are sent when you’re back online.
How long are my recordings kept?
As long as Settings › Privacy & About › Keep recordings says: 7, 30 or 90 days, forever, or not at all. Your tasks and transcripts stay either way. Delete all recordings, in the same place, removes every one from your phone and the server.
How do I get a copy of my data?
On iPhone, open the menu, then Account › Export my data. On the web, Settings › Data and privacy › Export my data. Either makes a file of your tasks, categories, Dictionary and transcripts. For your recordings or images, email us.
Can I use my tasks in other AI apps?
Yes, in ChatGPT, Claude or any app that supports MCP. Settings › Tasks › MCP shows you how: add Heardo to the app as a custom connector, paste the server address, and enter the code Heardo gives you. You choose whether the app can change your tasks or only read them. See every tool.
Delete your account
On iPhone
- Tap the menu button at the top left.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account, and confirm. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more, so that Heardo’s access to your Apple ID is withdrawn too; cancelling that keeps your account.
On the web
- Open Settings, then Account.
- Choose Delete account, and type DELETE to confirm.
What deleting does
Your recordings, transcripts, tasks, images, categories, Dictionary and briefings are deleted from our server at once. AI apps you connected and browsers you signed in to lose access, and Heardo’s data is wiped from the phone or browser you used. It can’t be undone. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days, as the privacy policy describes.
If you only want a break, sign out instead: everything is there when you sign back in.
Can’t open the app? Email help@graviti.inc from the email address on your account, and we will delete it for you.
Privacy and terms
Heardo sends your recordings and their text to Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) to turn them into to-dos. Amazon doesn’t train AI on them. The privacy policy says what we keep, where it goes and for how long, and the terms say how Heardo may be used during the beta.
